the Fourth Annual International Debate Tournament KYIV OPEN

Dear friends,

we are glad to announce that on October 1 – 2, 2011 in the beautiful city of Kyiv (Ukraine) the Fourth Annual International Debate Tournament KYIV OPEN will take place, held by All-Ukrainian Youth NGO “Debate Academy”.

The Tournament is held in British Parliamentary style.
Language – English.
Team cap – 40 teams.
Participation fee 15Eur for members of UYNGO “Debate Academy”, 30Eur for other debaters, 10Eur for adjudicators.
Participants are provided with accommodation, food and transfer round our beautiful city.
We insist on N-1 rule.

Chief Adjudicator – Anne Valkering, Netherlands: WUDC ESL champion 2008; DCA Dutch Nationals 2009,Convener EUDC 2010, CA Bonaparte Debate Tournament 2007, DCA Amsterdam Open 2008 and 2009, CA Sciences Po IV 2009.

During the Tournament (October 1-2) participants will face 5 preliminary, semi-final and final rounds, unexpected socials; have an opportunity to communicate with extraordinary people; and feel the unique atmosphere of one of the oldest capitals of Europe.

Registration is OPEN till September 15.
