April Debate Educational Weekend (April DEW) on 13-14 of April!

Dear friends!

On behalf of All-Ukrainian Youth NGO “Debate Academy” we’d like to invite you to our unique annual debating event –
the April Debate Educational Weekend (April DEW) that will take place on 13-14 of April.

Whenever we have a holiday we need a weekend! This year we have a great and unexpected occasion to welcome an Austrian trainer ;), our beloved friend and colleague in the middle of the week. Why not to have a weekend in-between!

You are going to face a training based on new experience and skills from recent London Championship on Austral-Asian Debating, Vienna debate club sittings and Central-European debating tradition.

- Language: English

- Location: Office of UYNGO “Debate Academy”

- Format of the event: 3-Block training

There are 2 out of 3 blocks that are to be attended obligatory.

1st Obligatory Block is on April, 13 from 15.30 to 21.00

You may choose either both or one of the two blocks on April, 14:
2nd (Optional) Block is from 10.00 to 15.00 or 3rd (Optional) Block is from 15.45 to 21.00

- Participants cap: 30 persons

- Registration fee for all the 3 Blocks: 50UAH for members and 65UAH for non-members of UYNGO “Debate Academy”.
- Registration fee for the 2 Blocks: 40UAH for members and 55UAH for non-members of UYNGO “Debate Academy”. The fee covers coffee-brake, handouts for participants and certificates.

Registration will be open till April, 11 for non-Kyivites and April, 12 for Kyivites.

The Organizing Committee has the right of selecting participants according to their debating experience for the event is oriented at experienced debaters.

We would like you to note, that non-Kyivite participants are NOT provided with lodging, yet the Organizing Committee will try to assist in search for one.
