INTERNATIONAL DEBATE TOURNAMENT

On February, 25–27 2011, Ukrainian Humanitarian Lyceum of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University and All-Ukrainian Youth NGO “Debate Academy” are holding the International Debate Tournament on the topic “Urgent Problems of Today in the Youth Eyes”.

The Tournament is devoted to the discussion of challenges that the world community has faced in the spheres of ecology, human rights, culture and civil position of the youth. The final wording of the motions will be provided after the registration of participating teams is closed.

Venue: Ukrainian Humanitarian Lyceum of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University (Kyiv, 3 І. Kozlovskogo lane).

Format: the Tournament will be held in World Schools Debate Style and will consist of two tracks: Ukrainian and English; four preliminary rounds; semi-final and final rounds.

Participant status:
- debaters (high school students (8–11 form\ year of studies), who speak Ukrainian and\or English;
?- attendant (coach or adjudicator).
